Polyaspartic Floor Coating

Polyaspartic Floor Coating = Next Level

This was such a great project… When a customer states they want “Full Service” often times that means Polyaspartic Floor Coating. But in this case, it was two levels! His and Hers garage flooring updates/upgrades. The ManCave went the direction for Polished Concrete with the joints sealed. While the SheCave chose decorative epoxy flake with the Polyaspartic Top Coat.

Is there a difference between straight epoxy coating and Polyaspartic Floor Coating? Yes there is…

Both are resistant to chemicals and will absolutely protect your concrete flooring. But, Polyaspartic goes a bit further and has more to offer. Epoxy coatings are very durable, yet still vulnerable to scuffing and scratches. While polyaspartic has properties that make it more flexible and will not chip and scratch like epoxy coatings can. Another attribute is the texture that comes from vinyl paint flakes that help to make it a pretty slip-resistant floor coating.

We often say it is all in the prep… How good a surface looks and how long it last, has A LOT to do with the prep, before the final coatings. It is actually a five step process… Grind, Epoxy, Flake Chips and then the Polyaspartic Floor Coating

Check out the pics, before, during and after the final coatings.

Maintenance for your Polyaspartic Floor Coating is straight forward and easy to maintain. Regular sweeping and mopping to keep loose debris will lead to a much extended life. We recommend warm water and a PH neutral cleaner diluted with water.
